Earthmother Cafe
The Earthmother Cafe is set in the garden at the back of their shop property. Parents are able to relax beneath the shade of pigeonwood and tibouchina trees, while the kids divide their time either playing in the sand box, watching the fish in the small pond or playing with toys on picnic blankets and cushions.
There are a wide range of breakfasts and lunches available. While some of the dishes include cheese, this can easily substituted with other ingredients. Such an example is their Mild Mexican: black beans, marinated with a touch of chilli and served with herbs, greens and cherry tomatoes. All their smoothies are dairy-free.
Open breakfast and lunch-time only.

They have a lot of nice vegan options. The coffee is exceptional and the raw chocolate tart - to die for! The staff's not half bad either. ;) A favourite spot!
I go here nearly every day for lunch. It is a wonderful place, the food is amazing and very healthy, also very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and always very helpful to explain the various different items to non-vegetarians.
Govinda's
Govinda's is a low cost cafe-style restaurant located inside the grounds of the largest Hare Krishna temple in Africa. It specialises in vegetarian Indian food, especially curries, snacks and desserts. The staff are knowledgeable and can advise if each dish is suitable for vegans ... most are!

This is my favorite vegetarian shop. I've been enjoying their tasty yet affordable meals & snacks for more than 10 years. I love it's homely feel and a friendly service with a smile. I take all my friends both from oversees and local to Little Gujarat. Crime free food at it's best!
Spicewok
Thai cuisine can easily beat most food from all over the world because of its amazing taste. Thai food is also lighter. Moreover, the herbs and spices used as common ingredients have medicinal properties. Some of them are good for digestion while some have benefits to drive away your fever and clear your throat.
Spicewok has a wide range of curries, stir-fries, soups, noodle and rice dishes, available in vegetable or tofu options that can be made ideal for vegans on request.

The Fat Vegetarian
The Fat Vegetarian is a dynamic new enterprise that offers the marketplace a service that has been overlooked by many of the companies providing fast food. The purpose of this business is to serve people a healthy “junk” food alternative.
There are many Indian based curry vegetarian takeaways, but not one that provides only “western” type food (burgers, hotdogs, sausage rolls, vegetarian steak, vegetarian chicken, etc.). Their aim to provide fast and tasty vegetarian meals on the run at the right time, right quality and right price.
