Madre's Kitchen

If you are ever in the Overberg area, the best place to eat that we have found is Madre`s Kitchen set on a beautiful farm in Stanford. Although the menu is not vegan, they will prepare vegan dishes for you but they would prefer a day's notice, we arrived with no prior booking for Sunday lunch. They made us a strictly vegan pasta dish and fresh garden salad served with homemade sourdough bread.

The place is more than just a restaurant, with a gift and wine shop. Madre and her staff were friendly and accommodating and our meal was reasonably priced.

The Class Room

The Class Room Restaurant offers relaxed fine dining with something for every palate. Crystal chandeliers and soft draping sets the tone for an elegant dining experience inside the restaurant, but guests are also welcome to linger and relax on the informal, enclosed patio or in the courtyard garden.

This is also the ideal venue for functions or special celebrations.

Indicate your dining preferences when booking, and they will prepare a special meal to suit your requirements.

Tikka Palace

Tikka Palace offers exotic curries, mouth watering Tandori items and fresh organic vegetarian and vegan dishes. The only restuarant in the Overberg to offer an authentic Indian and Pakistan dining experience.
