Addis Ethiopia
Addis in Cape, situated in a quaint old building on Church Street that overlooks Cape Town's famous Long Street, is a stunning 3 storey Ethiopian restaurant offering a truly authentic traditional experience. Yetsom megeb, or "food of the fast", is an integral part of Ethiopia’s ancient Coptic religion. During this strict fast that is observed twice a week (and before some religious holidays) all food prepared may not contain any animal products. As a result Ethiopian cuisine boasts a wide variety of tasty vegan dishes that are a delight for any vegan looking for a taste of the extraordinary!

Anatoli's
Anatoli has been serving Turkish food since 1984. During this 25 year journey a change of 3 owners has taken place. Tayfun Aras the current owner is Turkish, and pays close attention to create authenticity and a variety of Turkish cuisine for discerning South Africans.
Although the main (dish) attraction is lamb, to accommodate everyone and to offer a wider selection, vegetarian and vegan dishes started taking their places on the menu. The waiters explain the mezes to customers, to make it easier to choose and understand these Turkish delicacies.

Chandani
A small intimate restaurant that recreates exotic India, both with food and décor. Everything is authentic - they import their spices directly from India as well as their chefs.
All dishes are individually prepared in the style of the Mughals who ruled India for generations. They follow the ancient Hindu tradition of "stricly vegetarian", which excludes eggs but des include dairy items. Despite this, most dishes on the menu can be prepared without using any animal products.

Earthshine
Vegan pizza for delivery! Delicious new taste sensation, raw and full of nutrients, wheat and gluten free, dairy free, rich in essential omega oils, high in fibre, no refined carbs, gluten, trans-fats, artificial additives or animal products.
Earthshine offer one pizza variety each week, with local and seasonal toppings changing weekly. Their dough bases are made with sprouted buckwheat and golden flax, gently dehydrated and topped with seasonal vegetables, greens and nut cheeses.
Pizzas are sold in Cape Town only. Pizzas are pre ordered either by email or phone by Thursday evening, then delivered to the customers' selected collection point. They currently have around 10 collection points in Cape Town.

Health for Life is a health store/vegan vegetarian restaurant serving a wide variety of vegan/vegetarian foods, including main courses, health drinks and desserts. Their portions are filling and they offer a wide variety to choose from on their menu. The kitchen is clean and well organised so that the standard of food is great.

All Asian food-lovers end up at Jakarta Rijsttafel restaurant, which is eccentric and very rustic, not commercial in the least. With warm service from the owner-patron and wines at pocket-friendly prices, there are no strangers here, just people you have not met before. Bookings are essential.
Vegan appetisers: Emping (a tropical fruit cracker), spicy cassava crackers, spring rolls. Vegan mains: Nasi Goreng (spiced rice with vegetables), Nasi Kuning (yellow rice), Sajoer Lodeh (vegetables in spicy coconut sauce), Gado-gado (mix veg. salad with tofu, tempeh & beansprouts), Mixed veg. curry, Andatjar Timor (mixed veg in spiced vinegar), Seroendeng (roasted coconut & peanuts), and their famous homemade dynamite: Sambal Badjak.

The Signal Restaurant, at the Cape Grace Hotel on Cape Town's V&A Waterfront, offers a 5-course Vegan Tasting Menu.
Available in Signal for dinner without prior arrangement, the Vegan Tasting Menu offers highlights such as wild rocket and quinoa salad served with organic baby beets, roasted butternut and radish topped with candy striped beetroot crisps and walnut vinaigrette. Also very popular on the berry dessert made up of a strawberry soup with blackberries, raspberry sorbet with cranberry and hazelnut praline and a blueberry tart.
The Vegan Tasting Menu changes regularly to utilize the wonderfully fresh produce available around Cape Town.

Sophea Gallery & Tibetan Teahouse consists of the teahouse that serves a 95% vegan menu, a spiritual art gallery, a shop with Tibetan artefacts, singing bowls, prayer flags and stunning silver jewellery.
