Madre's Kitchen If you are ever in the Overberg area, the best place to eat that we have found is Madre`s Kitchen set on a beautiful farm in Stanford. Although the menu is not vegan, they will prepare vegan dishes for you but they would prefer a day's notice, we arrived with no prior booking for Sunday lunch. They made us a strictly vegan pasta dish and fresh garden salad served with homemade sourdough bread. The place is more than just a restaurant, with a gift and wine shop. Madre and her staff were friendly and accommodating and our meal was reasonably priced.

Nina's Deli Nina's sell an assortment of exotic relishes and sushi items. They make a fresh variety of salads and Mediterranean meals each day. Check with them which are vegan, they know which are which. Open late on Wednesdays, easy parking right outside the door.

Nino's The vibe of European café society, seasoned with the traditional South African emphasis on wholesome quality cuisine garnished with friendly faces. The ambiance is welcoming and relaxed, the management and staff are friendly and polite, and the delicious smell of freshly ground coffee permeates the air.
