One just can't help but fall in love with Ami, and when your food arrives you won't know whom to love more - the chef, designer or owner (all close ami's).
With delectable design, classy culinary conquests, prestige waiters and an ambience which leaves you begging, they haven't forgotten the new west's health vogue - their selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes are right on par with the meat options.
Ami seats all, from coffee breaks, lunch meetings, business gatherings, weddings, events, parties, to their free tequila Tuesday nights and their striking Champagne Thursdays.

Gingko provide a range of vegan breakfasts and lunches, baked goods and drinks, with a strong focus on fresh, organic ingredients, without preservatives or colourants. They offer an extensive array of gluten free, sucrose free, dairy free and vegan foods which are just as delicious as everything else that they make. They have a variety of a la carte dishes which change weekly. The buffet is always vegan friendly.
Their operating hours are: Tuesday to Friday - 7am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 5pm, closed Mondays.

We came back from Israel where fresh carrot & fruit juices could be found on every street corner, and searching for a similar venue in SA we found a Kauai restaurant in the mall while we were spending time while waiting for my sister to arrive.
What a pleasure to find a restaurant/fast food venue where they promote a healthier food option giving those of us who are conscious of looking after our God-given bodies, better choices to eat from without having to go through a heavy detox programme at home to get rid of all the toxic waste in the food so many restaurants offer their clientele!!

Well done Kauai for now introducing Fry's veggie strips in your vegan wraps. Can't wait to try it!
Salad Daze
Salad Daze is a pretty, inimitable and friendly coffee shop in Vincent, East London. It is part of the 'Slow Food' movement, which is about good, clean and fair food. They believe food should taste and look good, and be produced in a way that does not harm the environment, animal welfare or our health.
So they're taking great strides towards this by offering many vegan and vegetarian menu items, organic crispy fresh produce and by hosting a recycling station. A first for this little old-fashioned seaside town, but although they're go-ahead, they also treat their customers with gracious courtesy.

Signal Restaurant
The Signal Restaurant, at the Cape Grace Hotel on Cape Town's V&A Waterfront, offers a 5-course Vegan Tasting Menu.
Available in Signal for dinner without prior arrangement, the Vegan Tasting Menu offers highlights such as wild rocket and quinoa salad served with organic baby beets, roasted butternut and radish topped with candy striped beetroot crisps and walnut vinaigrette. Also very popular on the berry dessert made up of a strawberry soup with blackberries, raspberry sorbet with cranberry and hazelnut praline and a blueberry tart.
The Vegan Tasting Menu changes regularly to utilize the wonderfully fresh produce available around Cape Town.

The Class Room Restaurant offers relaxed fine dining with something for every palate. Crystal chandeliers and soft draping sets the tone for an elegant dining experience inside the restaurant, but guests are also welcome to linger and relax on the informal, enclosed patio or in the courtyard garden.

Served in the palazzo-style La Terazza restaurant under the trees or in the fine dining L'Epicurien Restaurant.

Stayed at the Village Ridge Boutique Hotel on a business trip. The Hotel was fantastic, I was amazed at their restaurant menu. Any vegetarian and vegan`s dream. Tasty and plated to perfection. This is a first for Pretoria and I will go there again on my next visit.

The Well Cafe at Wellness Warehouse is overflowing with a passion for food. It is beautifully designed and has a community atmosphere that attracts a host of daily regulars, no doubt hooked on one of the delicious smoothies.
Food caters for wellness in all its forms - vegan, vegetarian, dairy, wheat and sugar free and more. All kinds of dietary requirements are catered for in mouthwatering options.
