This firm Japanese country-style tofu is made from non-GMO or organically-grown soya beans, filtered water and imported Japanese nigari. Its ideal for dips, stir-fries, cakes and bakes.
Most health shops, several Spars, Pick n Pay (franchise stores, not the corporate stores) and Spice Emporiums.

Morinaga Tofu
This is a firm type of soya bean curd, imported from Japan. Morinaga Tofu is vegan and consistently tastes freshly made and never sour. No preservatives are used in this food product and no irradiation is carried out in the manufacturing process.
Morinaga's vegan tofu can be purchased from Woolworths stores nationwide.

Nature's Choice Plain Tofu
Tofu is a soft, cheese-like food made from soya beans. It is rich in high-quality protein, B vitamins and iron; low in sodium. Use it in salads, stews and baked dishes.
Over 500 outlets and stockists throughout South Africa, including Dis-Chem, Spar and health shops.

An organic soya bean curd food product, known as "The cheese of the Orient" with amazing health benefits and a variety of applications and culinary uses.
The Tofu Tub can only be found in Western Cape health stores and Stellenbosch Spar at present, but they are currently sourcing other agents/distributors.
