Arabella is a family business in which every family member is passionately involved. They endeavour to make the best wine possible, at the very best price, and achieving this goal is their passion. Arabella winery has 200 hectares of vineyards and produces vegan wine. Their south facing slopes are high in calcium and potassium, giving their grapes good acidity and cell structure. Arabella wines are available from good liquor stores.

Arendsig Hand-Crafted Wines
Arendsig is a wine farm with its own vineyards and boutique cellar in the foot hills of the Robertson Valley. The region is blessed with diversity of soil and ample fresh water. This enables Arendsig to make specially hand crafted wines with complex flavours.

Audacia Wines
Audacia is a 32 hectare wine farm in South Africa's prime winemaking region. The maxim in property is "location, location, location" - and Audacia has that in spades. It's situated in 'The Golden Triangle' of Stellenbosch, a unique patch of land at the foot of the Helderberg Mountain.
It's special because this is where some of South Africa's best red wines, particularly Shiraz, are grown. It's for this reason - and that its vineyards are exclusively planted to red grape varieties – that Audacia has dubbed itself "The Red Wine Boutique Winery".

Brunia Wines
The production of premium wines requires favourable terrior. This makes Cold Mountain ideal for the grape farming of Brunia wines, which are all vegan.

Buitenverwachting (white wines only)
Buitenverwachting is a producer of high quality wines in the historic Constantia Valley, situated at the foot of the Constantiaberg mountain range and a mere stone throw away from the Tokai forest. Their constant drive for excellence over the last 30 years has led us to produce wines of distinct value and unmistakable quality.
All Buitenverwachting's white wines are vegan-friendly, without the use of animal products. Any cross-contamination from the production of their red wine is eliminated by their superior cellar hygiene practices.

Cranefields Wines
Cranefields produce natural dry red wine for easy drinking. These include 2006 and 2007 wines - Cranefields Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and a blend called Red Bishop. All wines are aged in American and French oak barrels for 16 months.
The grapes are grown on the Cranefields farm in the Overberg and the wine is made at Welgevallen Cellar in Stellenbosch.
Cranefields wines are vegan and are available in the Western Cape.

Creation (white wines only)
Creation Wines of Hermanus produce vegan white wines. These include a well-balanced sauvignon blanc, a fruity and fragrant viognier, a Bordeaux-style sauvignon blanc/semillon, and a full bodied chardonnay.
Creation Wines are available from Woolworths stores in the Cape and Gauteng areas.

D'Aria Winery
D'Aria's commitment to excellence has been reflected in the immediate success of its wines from the launch of its range in 2008. D'Aria is known for its award winning sauvignon blancs and outstanding reds, particularly merlot and shiraz. Their sense of value and sensitivity to consumer interests are also reflected in several "best value" accolades earned by its vegan wines.
Their vineyards are situated at the back of the Tygerberg Hills, mainly in north- and east-facing rows. Situated 10 km from the Atlantic Ocean, the sea breeze cools the grapes at night after the warm summer days.

Glen Erskine
Glen Erskine is an estate nestled in the lush Elgin Valley that produces exceptional white wines. The complete production process, from growing the grapes to making the wine and bottling the completed product, is done on their farm. Helderberg produce vegan Sauvignon Blanc wine. The vibrant nose shows a burst of capsicum, cut grass, gooseberries, figs and lime. The rich palate exudes layers of pure fruit and mineral notes which combine to produce a remarkable intensity of flavours. This wine is perfectly balanced with seamless natural acidity, purity of ripe fruit and harmonious lingering finish.

Herold Wines
The flourishing Herold Wines vineyard has an idyllic setting, embraced by the lofty Outeniqua mountains covered with dramatic stands of fynbos. Their wines are unique since their vines are rooted at higher altitude than most, resulting in a longer growing season.
Herold are committed to making vegan wines now. Their previous vintages that used animal products are all sold out except for the 2009 Red Man.

Imbuko Releaf Wines
Releaf wines are made from 100% hand harvested organically grown grapes. Only sustainable farming practices are used in the vineyards.
Releaf wines care for the environment and wines are bottled in partially recycled glass bottles and labels are printed on recycled paper with sustainable inks.

Kaapzicht
Kaapzicht Estate has an ideal combination of terroir and meso climate: it is situated on the north-western slopes of the Bottelary Hills, in view of Cape Town and Table Mountain, combining weathered granite soils, warm slopes and cool, direct ocean breezes. Being full-bodied, fruity wines with great structure and length, Kaapzicht wines reflect this terroir as well as the passion of the Steytler family, who have owned and run this estate for 60 years.

Six Hats Wines
Citrusdal Wines produces vegan Fairtrade wines called Six Hats. This relates directly back to the 6 principles that form the core of their philosophy - Partnership, Potential, Change, Equity, Dignity and Sustainability.
They seek to produce wines that will contribute to the lives of the people whose hard work is expressed in each bottle.
