Berry Smoothie

A delicious fruity smoothie, a good choice at breakfast time for a great start to the day.


Almond milk or rice milk
Apple juice
Handful of frozen or fresh berries
1-2 bananas
Handful of baby spinach leaves
Superfoods of your choice (choose from flax seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, hemp powder, pumpkin seeds, baobab powder, wheatgrass powder)

Cooking Instructions

  • Add approx 1 cup of raw almond milk or rice milk (Woolworths sell rice milk) to a blender.
  • Add approx 1 cup of apple juice.
  • Add handful frozen or fresh berries, 1-2 bananas, (a handful of baby spinach leaves - optional) and 1 tablespoon of each superfood of your choice such as hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds, baobab powder, wheatgrass powder.
  • Blend and enjoy.
  • This makes approx 2-3 glasses; you can add more or less liquid depending how thick you like it or try adding ¼-½ an avocado to make it extra creamy.
