Warm Lentil Salad
A simple curried lentil dish that can be eaten as either a starter, a side dish or a snack.
Ingredients
1 finely chopped red onion 2 crushed garlic cloves ¼ cup olive oil 1 tsp garam masala 1 tsp red wine vinegar 1 can brown lentils Handful fresh coriander and flat leaf parsley
Cooking Instructions
- Pan fry the onion and garlic in the olive oil until soft, add the masala and fry for 1 more minute.
- Add the vinegar and lentils and heat through.
- Serve with fresh herbs.
Serves 2 people
