Cauliflower Curry
Cauliflower is a vegetable that is, many times, overlooked. It is a member of the cruciferous family, a family which contains nutrients that fight against several diseases. There are 2 main ingredients in cauliflower, and in all of the cruciferous family, that are the main disease fighters. These are indole-3-carbinol, or 13C, and the photo-nutrient sulforaphane. So when having this dish, remember to say thank you to the cruciferous family for its 'gift' of health.

Syrup Sausages
Sausages are a great source for protein and to have something 'chewy' as finger food on the platter is a firm favorite at dinner parties. Its especially great for introducing people to a vegan diet. The sesame seeds add a 'smoky' flavour to the sausages while the maple syrup and cayenne pepper (if you prefer a bit of a 'kick') is a great 'sweet-chili' combination.
Cayenne pepper is great for blood detoxification and stimulates the metabolism. The sesame seed oil is rich with manganese and copper which have been shown to have a cholesterol-lowering effect in humans, and to prevent high blood pressure and increase vitamin E supplies in animals. Sesame has also been found to protect the liver from oxidative damage.
