Woolworths

Woolworths is perhaps the most vegan-friendly of all the nationwide supermarket chains in South Africa. This chain store prides itself on stocking high quality foods and other consumables.

Woolworths leapt ahead of the competition when it took the progressive decision to have all its inhouse branded products endorsed by Beauty Without Cruelty, many of which are are vegan. Its vegan homecare brand Earth-Friendly is also similarly endorsed.

The Woolworths food courts are ideal for grocery shopping, with a great range of fruits, vegetables, grains, vegan confectionery and other foods, as well as a health food section.
